Kris and Bruce Jenner have called it quits. After 22 years of marriage, the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” parents have announced their separation, saying they are “much happier this way.”

The pair have been married since 1991 and have two children together. They were also stepparents to the other’s children from previous relationships.

“We are living separately and we are much happier this way,” the pair said in a statement to E! News.

“But we will always have much love and respect for each other. Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority.”

They did not give a reason for their split.

According to TMZ, Bruce has been living in Malibu now, spending time with sons Brody and Branson, while Kris is still in Calabasas with their daughters Kylie and Kendall Jenner, and her older children Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe Kardashian.

Bruce apparently told his sons that living away from his wife was just the way their relationship evolved.

There are no plans to file for divorce as of now.

Rumours of their split have been circulating for months, but they had adamantly shut those down.

“We just laugh it off,” the Kardashian matriarch told E! News in November. “We love each other and just laugh about it... These kind of stories have been circulating for the last couple of years.”

Recently, Kris’ younger sister, Karen Houghton, revealed that the couple were already separated, saying that they have had frequent fights. Kris also apparently has flirty relationships with her own daughters’ partners.

“I heard she flirts with Scott [Disick, Kourtney’s boyfriend and father of her two children] and Lamar [Odom, Khloe’s estranged husband] when she’s drunk,” Karen told In Touch magazine in an interview.

Kris was previously married to the late Robert Kardashian, while Bruce was married first to Chrystie Crownover and then to Linda Thompson before marrying Kris in 1991.
