Bruce Jenner's dream to participate in the popular dance reality show, "Dancing With the Stars," has gone for a toss. Kris Jenner, his ex-wife is the person behind to blame for it.

New York Daily Analysis broke the news of Bruce Jenner backing out from the show. It is the same show he was apparently sprucing up his looks. All his efforts of getting an alleged apple reduction, growing his hair and regular manicures were reportedly wasted as his dream to appear in the show was over.

The appalling reason behind Kris Jenner not allowing Bruce to be the part of the show was being envious about the limelight Bruce was getting. Reports suggested Kris was being a control freak who did not want her popularity to be overshadowed by her former husband's charming personality on "DWTS."

"Kris was not about to let the spotlight be off of her and she didn't want him doing it," a friend close to Kardashian clan revealed to Hollywoodlife.com, adding, "She put a stop to his deals and that's why he backed out at the last minute."

"Producers were shocked that he backed out but Kris was the reason and Bruce is bummed about it."

It is sad that Bruce Jenner will not get a chance to show his dancing prowess at the show but fans wonder why the former Olympian is listening to Kris when he has clearly separated his ways from her.

Also, Bruce even wants to quit the family show "Keeping it Up With The Kardashians." It seems Bruce wants to spend some lone time away from media glares.

Regarding his decision to quit "KUWTK," Hollywoodlife.com has reported a source saying, "Bruce wants off the family's reality television show so he can spend more time playing golf, flying planes and riding motorcycles. He also wants to take his free time and spend the majority of it with all his children."

Well it seems for now Bruce Jenner is all for his kids and for no one else.
