Kris Jenner Turns Over Control Of Kendall Jenner's Modelling Career To Chris Gay's Society Agency In New York.

Kris Jenner is the head of the massive Kardashian Jenner empire, which handles the careers of the famous members of her family including her own. Despite her experience and her success in making the Kardashian and Jenner brands household names, Kris relinquished control of her 18-year-old daughter Kendall's modelling career to the experts at Chris Gay's Society Agency.

The world famous momager is in Paris this week to support Kendall Jenner who is walking the runways at Paris Fashion Week. While there, she also squeezed in an appearance with another daughter, Kim Kardashian, at an event for A.W.A.K.E. by Natalia Alaverdian. At the event, Kris shared some tidbits about Kendall's modelling career to Fashion Week Daily.

Kris revealed that Kendall has joined Society Agency, which is based in New York and headed by Chris Gay. A self-confessed control freak, Kris admitted that she was initially anxious about letting someone else take the reins on her daughter's career. She said that she was thankful that Chris Gay eased her into it and really made her feel comfortable. She also said that the agency has so far done a good job. Kendall appeared in numerous runways for prominent brands in New York, Milan and Paris for three consecutive fashion weeks this month.

"You know this is not my wheel house, so I've really gotten quite an education and I have a new appreciation for this business," said Kris who admitted that the modelling industry is not her forte. Despite this, the Kardashian fashion and retail brand has achieved major success under her guidance. The elder Kardashian siblings have a steadily expanding network of DASH retail stores and their line called Kardashian Kollection is distributed worldwide through various retail partners.Kendall and Kylie hae followed suit with their own collaborations for fashion lines with PacSun and Steve Madden.

"I'm just really proud of Kendall, because she's worked really hard to try to get her sea legs and figure what this business is all about." shared Kris who explained that Kendall also went through her own learning process. Kendall, who admitted growing up used to cameras following her around, stated that she needed to work twice as hard to book shows at the beginning because designers were skeptical about her due to her family name and the fame that comes with it.

Now on her second fashion week in Paris this year, after debuting for the fall/winter shows back in February, Kendall is the model of the moment hitting headlines every time she makes an appearance on any runway. She's already walked for Balmain this week and made a return appearance for Givenchy which she also walked earlier this year.
