Kristen Dunst Thanks iCloud For Nude Photo Leak, Apple Looking Into The Bug That Created The Scandal
"The Spiderman" actress Kristen Dunst slammed Apple for the recent nude photo scandal which has rocked the Hollywood fraternity. The actress took to Twitter and wrote "Thank you iCloud". She even attached the emoticons of a Pizza and poop to the tweet.
Dunst is one of the celebs who has been victimised by nude photo leak scandal. Hacker allegedly stole pictures of the celebrities from their iCloud accounts and made it available on an infamous forum 4chan.
Apple's executives are said to be looking into the leak. "We take user privacy very seriously and are actively investigating this report," said company spokesperson Nat Kerris to Bloomberg as reported by Independent ie
The nude photo scandal has exposed the private pictures of more than 100 celebs, including Oscar Winning star Jennifer Lawrence. The mobile giant has also said that they are also looking into the "Find My Phone" app which could have lead to the leak.
Jennifer's rep has called it a "violation of privacy". Kate Upton's lawyer is also looking into the matter and is reportedly very serious about the matter.
"A Good Day to Die Hard" actress Mary Winstead has confirmed that the pictures are hers but the act is an invasion of privacy.
"To those of you looking at photos I took with my husband years ago in the privacy of our home, hope you feel great about yourselves," she tweeted on Sunday. "Knowing those photos were deleted long ago, I can only imagine the creepy effort that went into this. Feeling for everyone who got hacked."
Meanwhile, Ariana Grande, whose alleged nude photos have also been leaked, have dismissed the authenticity of the photos. She took to Twitter to explain to her fans that whatever nude photos of hers are circulating on the Web are fake. She also said that she is praying for all of them who believed that the nude photo are hers.
