"Twilight's" Kristen Stewart never gives off the pretentious vibe. Not on film or the red carpet either. However, what's all this talk about Stewart saying she indeed is plus? Even Robert Pattinson says the same thing about himself.

From playing ostentatious to gallant roles on film, Kristen Stewart proves to have taste in film roles. However, for the 22-year old actress, this would probably be the reason as to why she sounds "pretentious". In an interview with Alicia Malone's Movie Minute, Kristen Stewart explains just how choosy she can be for film roles and why it sounds being conceited on her part.

"I'm not in the entertainment industry, I don't do that," explains Stewart. "It sounds so pretentious but it's kind of the only way I can do that, I'm so not a performer, things need to be ... things need to feel so important. That if you don't do it you feel you're failing everyone ... that you're depriving the world of something that really mattered to you and really affected you and it's worth it," continued the "Snow White and the Huntsman" actress.

Stewart's longtime beau, Robert Pattinson, also thinks the same way about himself. The 26-year-old claimed to have always fought against being "pretentious" throughout his film career. This holds especially true during the reign of David Cronenberg's drama, "Cosmopolis" at the Cannes Film Festival.

"I was really fighting to not look pretentious for years, and someone gives you one inch of the possibility of being pretentious," shared Pattinson, adding, "when you're like grabbing it so hard, going around being the biggest douchebag."

As far as being "pretentious" is concerned, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are not even close to conceited. Their act of being too choosy for film roles say a lot about their character and dedication to bringing something incredible on screen. Fact is that fans of the "Robsten" duo will highly disagree on both actors' perception of themselves.
