It's not only Robert Pattinson going out in Hollywood with another woman. Apparently his "Twilight" co-star and real life partner Kristen Stewart did more than that: Kristen Stewart shared a kiss with Dakota Fanning.

Kristen Stewart locks lips with the 16-year-old Fanning in their movie The Runaways where the two play rockers Cherie Currie and Joan Jett respectively.

Dakota said she found kissing Stewart "comfortable."

Fanning insisted that there was nothing awkward about the kissing scene, although that was her first female kiss. Intrestingly, Kristen Stewart won the Best Kiss award from MTV which she shared with Robert Pattinson.

"Was it awkward? When you feel comfortable around someone and you have no defences up, that's when you're going to be the best. I feel very comfortable with Kristen," Fanning said.

The I Am Sam star also insisted she was comfortable with her Christian parents seeing the movie despite its adult nature.

She said: "My mom was there on set the whole time. My dad saw it at the Sundance festival and I wasn't really nervous because I've been doing this since I was six, so he's used to seeing me in different situations."

Dakota revealed that had been so desperate to take on a role that reflected the fact she is growing up. She was last seen in the Twilight saga movie adaptation Eclipse with Kristen and Robert Pattinson.

"I wanted to do a different kind of movie because I am getting older and my parents had no doubts about the project whatsoever," Fanning explained. "I think everyone was comfortable because it's a true story."
