It has been a year since the "Twilight" series, where Kristen Stewart starred alongside former beau Robert Pattinson, has ended, but the actress proves that her star still shines.

Kristen Stewart showed a lot of her awesomeness in the recent ad campaign for popular designer brand Chanel working alongside popular fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld who shot some of the photographs himself.

Photos from the Karl Lagerfeld's Metiers D'Art Paris-Dallas collection featuring Kristen Stewart had been officially released on May 2. However, this is not the first time that the fashionable creations have been publicly shown. In December 2013, a Chanel fashion show was held in Dallas, Texas featuring cowboy-inspired garbs with models walking in a hay sprinkled runway enclosed in a rodeo-styled sitting. In the event, Karl Lagerfeld also announced that the "Twilight" actress will be the face of the collection.

In the video released for Chanel advertising campaign, Stewart was seen going out of the car wearing her usual get-up of hoodie and beanie. Not too long, Chanel stylists transform her into a smouldering cowgirl ready for the shoot as designer Karl Lagerfeld arrive. Lagerfeld took the role of the photographer himself, while Stewart looks very relaxed while her artful photographs are being taken.

As the shoots conclude, the team applaud for a job well done as Stewart and Lagerfeld embraced. The top designer seemed very impressed with Stewart's modelling chops, and end results show that Stewart is truly the right face for the Chanel ad.

While the collection has already been revealed, fashion geeks who cannot wait to lay their hands on a piece of Metiers D'Art Paris-Dallas collection will still have to wait until June 2014 for its availability in the Chanel boutiques.

Meanwhile, there is more of Kristen Stewart to be seen as her various movie projects are underway. In May 20, 2014, her film "Clouds of Sils Maria" will debut in Cannes Film Festival where reports of Stewart'spossible reunion with fellow "Twilight" actor Robert Pattinson is expected.

In Olivier Assayas Cannes entry, Kristen Stewart plays the role of Valentine, the loyal assistant of troubled actress Maria Enders played by Juliette Binoche.
