Who would have thought that singer, Katy Perry, would be chummy buddies with "Twilight" superstar, Kristen Stewart?

In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel Live, Kristen Stewart hilariously opens up on her Coachella experience with the "Fireworks" singer. Does this mean that Katy and Kristen are the new "It" BFFs?

During the Coachella Music and Arts Festival at Indio, Califonia, Kristen Stewart tried to keep things under the wraps. However, being included in Katy Perry's inner circle of friends, trying not to be obvious at the event was entirely impossible for Kristen.

"I have a buddy who has absolutely no qualms being in front of millions of people," explained Stewart "I'm not dropping [names] -- I feel like a weirdo right now -- I was with Katy Perry. I walked behind her through...she wanted to sit up front. She's like, 'Hey, you want to go watch the Tupac stuff? It will be awesome.' I was like, 'Yeah!' "

"I suddenly had to put my hat down because we were literally like Moses parting the waves of Coachella getting to the front," shared Stewart, adding, "I was her entourage - I was like, leading her entourage. It was ridiculous."

So having spent that much time with Katy Perry at the Coachella Music Festival, one can only assume that Katy and Kristen are now close friends. Robert Pattinson, who had been long-time friends with Katy Perry, would of course make sure his girlfriend, Stewart, was in close ties with her as well.

Apart from Stewart's new found friendship with Katy Perry, the "Twilight" actress shared her experience of seeing the deceased "Tupac" perform on stage to watching her favorite band, "The Shins" perform live.

"I saw Tupac in front of the entire Coachella crowd, actually," shared Stewart. As for Kristen's firsthand experience at "The Shins" concert with her mother, Stewart claimed it was fun getting "sugar poured on her".

"It was really fun," said Stewart. "I really liked, really actually, totally inappropriately, I really liked 'Pour Some Sugar On Me." I was like, yeah I like this, it's really good. Sweet stuff."
