After celebrating the Mexican holiday Dia De Los Muertos with Robert Pattinson in LA, Kristen Stewart headed to New York to shoot for her new film "Anesthesia". Stewart is playing a small but vital role in the Tim Blake Nelson's movie.

A source told Hollywoodlife.com, "Kristen took the red eye on Nov. 2 from LA to New York with a friend. She will be in New York City for a few days filming an independent movie called Anesthesia. She has a small part. Gretchen Mol is also in the film."

Heavily inspired by the "Dead Poets Society", "Anesthesia" is about a group of New Yorkers whose lives are touched by a philosophy professor. Stewart will be playing one of the philosophizing youths and will be shooting for the film in UCLA.

Many of UCLA students who spotted K-stew on the campus took to twitter to express their excitement. Risa Paredes Juarez wrote, "Just saw Kristin Stewart on campus! #Columbia."

Another one wrote, "I swear that's K Stew y'all."

"Anesthesia" is indeed a great career opportunity for K-Stew. It will not only help her breakaway from the "Twilight" image but is also a great opportunity for her to explore her acting prowess. However, now that K-stew will be away shooting, we wonder what Robert Pattinson will do without her.

In spite of their messy public break-up, the couple was spotted on back to back dates last week. On one of the occasions they spent a day with their dogs Bear and Bernie and on the other they celebrated Dia De Los Muertos.

It is good to see that R-patz and K-Stew are rekindling their romance. According to Hollywoodlife.com, "R-Ptaz will be heading to Morocco for his next film, "Queen of the Desert", in December, and he wants to spend "as much time as possible with KStew before he leaves."

"Kristen may even end up taking care of Bear and Bernie when he's filming .They are obviously keeping a very low profile," one of the insiders revealed to the website.
