Katy Perry and Robert Pattinson may have taken their friendship to "next level" but Robert Pattinson continues to be one of Kristen Stewart's close friends. And according to the latest reports, KStew wants RPatz to celebrate her birthday with him in Los Angeles, accompanied by all her close friends, according to Hollywood Life.

It is reported, that even though they haven't met each other "for the longest time, they still talk all the time." They reportedly stay in touch through texts and Skype.

It is said, that if RPatz attends KStew's birthday party it will be the "ultimate gift for her." At the same time, the source also confirmed that the two of them are "just focusing on work" and "neither of them are dating."

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart split in 2012 in the wake of KStew's cheating scandal with her director Rupert Sanders. Since then, what bind them together are their mutually owned dogs. "Twilight" co-stars own two dogs Bear and Barnie. And now, Kristen is seeking Rob's help to adopt another one which she will consider as her birthday gift.

"She's been like 'If you see a rescue dog in Toronto and you think the dog would be a good match, adopt him and bring him back to LA,'" revealed a friend of KStew to Hollywood Life.

Meanwhile, reports about Katy Perry and Robert Pattinson's rumored hookup are swirling around. The Stir reported that old pals have now become "Friends- with benefits." They apparently have been in touch through texts which "stepped up in January when things started going bad between Katy and John."

The source also revealed that their "texts have hotted up- she loves drunk texting him and they're always flirty."

There is more to Robert Pattinson's and Katy Perry's hookup. Katy might be planning to pay a visit to Robert Pattinson who currently filming "Life" in Toronto. It could be a "secret trip" that they are planning as "they've always kept their hook-ups discreet," according to the report.
