There has been buzz that Stewart and Pattinson will reunite on the former's 24th birthday. Sources have revealed that Stewart's only wish on her birthday is to reunite with Pattinson. However, there seems a meek possibility of the couple coming together. Here is the reason why.

Robert Pattinson is already rumoured to be more than friends with John Mayer's ex, Katy Perry. The duo fuelled romance rumours when they were spotted in a drunken PDA in a leaked video. Perry was seen sitting on Pattinson's lap and swooning the song "I'll Make Love to You."

The sources have further revealed that Perry has been frequently texting Pattinson since she split from John Mayer.

"Rob and Katy have never stopped being in touch—she loves the attention, but also thinks he's really sexy and funny," an insider revealed to Heat.

"The texting stepped up in January when things started going bad between Katy and John. Rob's been a real shoulder for her to cry on. Since he's been single, though, the texts have hotted up—she loves drunk texting him and they're always flirty," the source added.

The second reason is Stewart's focus shift. Kristen has shifted all her focus to her films. Her dedication shows from the fact that she has gained more than 15 lbs weight for her new role in the movie "Still Alice." Stewart's weight gain did spark pregnancy rumours. However, the report has been deemed fake, as insiders revealed Stewart is on a healthy weight gain spree to get her role right in the film.

The third reason is Pattinson's dislike for the limelight. One of the major reasons why Stewart and Pattinson would most probably not reunite is constant media scrutiny.
