Robert Pattinson’s sweetheart, Kristen Stewart is reportedly thrilled to attend the 2013 MET Gala set to be held in New York City on May 6. She dazzled in red long dress in 2011 but appeared to disappoint in colorful Balenciaga ensemble with blue leatherette skirt and printed top in 2012. She was photographed again in another gala event in 2012 in black Channel dress in 2010.

The actress has been reported asking Robert to join her at the upcoming fashion event next month. This will be the first time that the couple will be seen together in public, formal gatherings this year. Robert was nowhere in sight when Kristen came at The Oscars 2013 limping and made her way to the Academy’s stage in crutches. Knowing Robert Pattinson is not really big on fashion-related gatherings, Kristen Stewart has allegedly asked her boyfriend to be with her this time.

"Kristen loves fashion and loves Rob. She would love for Rob to attend the MET gala with her in New York in May," a source was quoted as saying by Hollywood Life. "She knows Rob isn't crazy about these types of events and having to dress up, but she has asked him."

Following reports that Kristen got into the same car the Rupert Sanders drive with a man who looks like Rupert, Robert was described in rough mood when he was spotted jetting back to Los Angeles on April 23, two days after he flew to New York on April 21. The recent developments in the Robsten Romance brought fears to their millions of fans that they could be in trouble again. And for Kristen who may come to MET gala “naked” once again, without her man beside her.

"No word yet on whether or not he can go or if he has a scheduling conflict, but he knows Kristen would be over the moon if he joined her. They both love hanging out in NYC together, so it could turn into a romantic, fun getaway for them. And Kristen wants to spend as much quality time as she can with Rob before he starts filming his next project," the source added.

The 2013 MET Gala will be conducted at the Metropolican Museum of Art in New York City. Big celebrities are also lined-up to be part of fashion’s biggest event of the year including, Beyonce, Rooney Mara, Givenchi designer, Riccardo Tisci and VOGUE editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour. It is scheduled on May 6.
