Kristen Stewart: Sheer Vs. Shorts [PHOTOS]
Kristen Stewart made her foray into Paris' Haute Couture enclaves this week. The mistress of Twihards showed off the other side of her fashion personality.
No ripped jeans, knotted tees, or Converse sneakers were in sight as the 23-year-old actress took her front row seat at Zuhair Murad and Chanel's presentations. In fact, her attendance at the fashion shows cemented the "Twilight" star's stance on red carpet and event dressing - it's either shorts, or lace, or both.
On July 4, Kristen traipsed into Mr. Murad's Fall 2013 presentation in head-turning attire courtesy of the designer. She paired a black bustier with a fully beaded and very revealing pair of lace pants. With her love of shorts and lace, Kstew isn't one to shy away from leg exposure, which is why she posed confidently with nothing but a pair of black boy shorts underneath all that see-through fabric. Kudos to Kristen for keeping it young with her slightly messy, half braided, half side-swept hairstyle.
Kristen Stewart's Haute Couture Week appearance in lacy Zuhair Murad was not her first. The "Breaking Dawn" actress rocked a series of sheer Zuhair Murad creations during the premieres of the final "Twilight Saga" movie. She wore a barely-there, nude lace gown, as well as a jaw-dropping jumpsuit with a sheer lace bodice and sequined pants.
As for Kristen's other favorite garment, she showed shorts some love with her chic yet rock and roll Chanel ensemble at the fashion house's July 3 show. Kristen's white jacket, black shorts, Jean-Michel Cazabat heels, and ode-to-Uncle Karl fingerless gloves made for a winning look.
Just like lace, a lot of Kristen's memorable red carpet outfits involve shorts. From playful Jason Wu for an "On the Road" screening, to embroidered OSMAN for the 2013 Kids' Choice Awards, those hot pants just keep finding their way into her wardrobe. But, let's face it, with legs like hers, who's complaining?
