Kristen Stewart of the "Twilight" fame ranks second to Academy winner Natalie Portman in a list of Hollywood's most bankable stars.

Both Stewart and her beau Robert Pattinson were among Forbes' most bankable stars in 2012. They are joined by fellow "Twilight" actor Taylor Lautner. Portman leads the list, though Stewart tops another category - Hollywood's biggest salary earner of the year.

Portman, 31, has proven she is an excellent casting choice because producers could make $42.70 for every dollar paid to her, according to Forbes.com. On top of that, she got an Oscar Best Actress award for the psychological thriller "Black Swan."

In contrast, Stewart returns $40.60 for every dollar earned. Third placer Shia LaBeouf returns $35.80 for each buck. Robert Pattinson and Daniel Radcliffe complete the Top 5, with $31.70 and $30.50 return for each dollar, respectively.

"Stewart was able to earn a ton over the last three years and offer a healthy return thanks to Twilight," Forbes.com reported. "Even though she was paid $25million to star in the last two films, she was clearly worth the money."

Lautner is not far behind with a $29.50 return for every dollar earned. Bradley Cooper, Dwayne Johnson, Amy Adams and Kevin James complete the Top 10 of Forbes' most bankable Hollywood stars.

Rumour has it that Stewart and Pattinson would team up again in a new movie. No details have been discussed, but it is not surprising if these two would be cast together again. However, it remains to be seen whether they would stay bankable as a romantic pair outside the "Twilight" saga.
