Kristen Stewart wins Scream Best Actress, upcoming film to open in theatres
Kristen Stewart won the Best Fantasy Actress award for Twilight film Eclipse at Spike TV's Scream 2010 Awards held at The Greek Theatre this weekend (October 16) in Los Angeles, California.
Stewart's acting prowress will next be seen in the upcoming Welcome to the Rileys, opening in the United States on October 29 in limited release, and nationwide on November 5.
Kristen's new film premiered in Sundance Film Festival with accolades for the Hollywood actress. In Welcome to the Rileys, Stewart plays stripper and prostitute Mallory, a character which the Twilight star said was wholly different to any acting she has ever done.
To prepare for the role, Kristen reportedly practiced strip-teasing and had undergone private lessons. Rumors has it that Kristen Stewart, in the course of her preparation for the role, gave Robert Pattinson a sneak peek to her moves but that has never been confirmed. The two will reunite on-screen for the final adaptation in the Twilight saga, Breaking Dawn (Part 1 & 2).
