Kristen Stewart has undergone a shocking transformation. The "Still Alice" star has dyed her tresses orange for a new role. Stewart got her new look in Maison de Cheveux salon in New Orleans. After giving the "Twilight" star a dramatically different look, the salon took the liberty of posting a photo of Stewart's 'new' up do on Instagram.

"Kristen Stewart gettin her hair ready for a new role! #americamultra#awesomecolor#houseofhair," the salon captioned the picture of Stewart. In the picture Stewart was seen showing a peace sign.

Fans are quite happy to see the new look of actress. It is also interesting to note that Stewart's transformation has come just a few weeks before her birthday. The buzz is that the 23-year-old actress is planning to reunite with her ex-beau Robert Pattinson on her birthday. So is this new get up a part of prepping for the reunion?

Reports suggest that Stewart wishes to celebrate her birthday with close pals and Robert Pattinson. She has even asked Pattinson to buy her a new dog as a birthday gift.

"Kristen asked Rob what his thoughts were about her adopting another dog for her birthday. Kind of like a gift for her and her dog Bailey, cause Bailey wants a friend," reported Hollywoodlife, adding, "She's been like, if you see a rescue dog in Toronto and you think the dog would be a good match, adopt him and bring him back to L.A."

Pattinson who was busy shooting for his new film titled "Life" in Canada is now back in L.A and it is speculated that he has rushed back to the city to be with his lady love.
