'KUWTK' Kendall Jenner Fake Twitter Followers, Reality Star Earns 1K Per Tweet
"Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star Kendall Jenner is one of the many celebrities with the highest number of followers on Twitter. An avid user of social media sites, the model's popularity is an illusion according to an exclusive report in In Touch Weekly who ran the names of her followers through statuspeople.com's fakers app.
The Web site was surprised by their discovery that more than half of her followers have "fake" accounts and some are inactive. With 7.98 million followers, the 18-year-old rising model have 4.6 million non-existing followers, and according to a source of the site "she gets paid $1,000 per tweet just for mentioning advertisers and their products."
"Kendall and her sisters have bought a good amount of their followers," says a source in an interview with InTouch Magazine that is currently on stands now. "She knows the more followers she has, the more she'll get paid to tweet."
Jenner is currently ranked at 117 in the grand celebrity popularity race on Twitter, she is two tiers below Lindsay Lohan. "She knows the more followers she has, the more she'll get paid to tweet," adds the source.
The brunette recently splurged out #1.39 million on a Los Angeles condo, according to post on Daily Mail. TMZ reports that she has taken out a $910,000 mortgage on the two-bedroom property and based on reports the interior of the condo is extremely luxurious.
Situated in the lavish LA area of Westwood, the new home of the star features a heated swimming pool, wine storage area and a wide kitchen. Although Kris Jenner is the one who signed on the home's document, she did not pay for the high-rise building property.
The star is allegedly planning to reunite with rumoured boyfriend Harry Styles from British boy band sensation One Direction. Following their breakup early this year, Kendall is reportedly "obsessed" with Styles according to Kpopstarz.
Just last week, the star posted a romantic poem entitled "There, I Still Will Be" on her Twitter and Instagram. The poem left many followers wondering the reason behind her post.
