Kylie Jenner has strongly dismissed the rumours of her breakup with Tyga.

Jenner made an appearance at “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” and utilised the platform to clear the air regarding her relationship status.

“People have it all wrong. We’re not broken up. We just, honestly, we became best friends before anything happened so I think that that’s awesome. And we’re just like, I don’t know, hanging out,” Jenner said on the show. The rumours of Jenner and Tyga’s breakup arose when they took some time off from each other last week.

"They are on a break. They were just a week or so ago talking about 'ever after' and things got messy this past week. Kylie wants time to just be by herself and do her. Tyga is not giving up as that's his one and only lady," E News quoted a source.

Kylie, who is otherwise quite active on Snapchat and Twitter, did not even post a single message to wish her rapper boyfriend on his 26th birthday that went by recently. This too fueled the speculations, but Kylie too was quick to respond that everything was okay between them and later took to Snapchat to share a photo with the caption, "Everyone needs to chill."

Kylie recently compensated for her cold approach on Tyga’s birthday at Scooter Braun's after party for the American Music Awards on Monday as she crooned him and gave him a special birthday cake and candles, E News reports.

On the show, Ellen even questioned Jenner if Tyga actually gifted her a Ferrari on her birthday. Kylie confirmed this and said, “I drove it here.”

Tyga, too, has time and again proved that he is seriously involved with Kylie and even wishes to marry her. It was only a few days back that TMZ uploaded a video, which showed Kylie saying “yes” on being asked if she and Tyga were going to get married. However, E News has reports that the couple is trying to work upon the cause of their split.
