FC Barcelona looks to keep their winning form intact as they play city rivals Espanyol in Friday's Spanish La Liga showdown at Nou Camp.

Fresh from a 3-0 victory against Celta Vigo, Barcelona (10-1-0 31 pts) will try to keep collecting victories as they look to blow trailers Atletico Madrid (10-0-1, 30 pts) and Real Madrid (8-1-2, 25 pts) in the Spanish La Liga Standings.

However, Lionel Messi, Neymar and company are facing an Espanyol squad eager to end their losing trend against their powerful Catalonian neighbor.

Bucking the Trend

Goal keeper Kiko Casilla believed his team must come out without showing any signs of fear when playing an elite team like Barcelona, if they ever want to pull off a big upset.

"We all know how important the derby with Barcelona is. We will go to Camp Nou and try to go all out. We'll have to play with intensity and try to stay focused for the entire 90 minutes," Casilla told ESPN FC.

"I have total respect for all their top players, but none of them frighten me. If you're scared, you should just stay at home," he added.

Espanyol has only collected a single point in their last six meetings with Barcelona, scoring just two goals and allowing 18 goals in the process.

Not Going to Be Scared at All

Casilla added that he won't be scared facing Barcelona's potent triumvirate of Messi, Neymar and Alexis Sanchez, who has been phenomenal early this season. Nevertheless, the Espanyol goaltender admitted that it's going to be a busy day between the poles."The numbers are there for us to see but we can't stop and think about them now," Casilla said.

"The results have not been as good recently but when we beat Atletico everyone said we were the best.

"I'm staying calm because I know we know what we're doing. People shouldn't throw stones at the team," he added.

Prediction:

Two weeks ago, Espanyol pulled off a huge 2-0 upset over Atletico to end the unbeaten start this season. Now, Espanyol will be facing a far stronger team in Barcelona.

There's no doubt that Casilla and company can play a great brand of football. However, containing the reigning La Liga champion is a different thing. Real Madrid had their first taste of Barcelona firepower in last week's El Clasico and they all admitted that Barca is a different beast now with Neymar looking to attack always.

No offense to Espanyol, but Barcelona will be too much for them on Friday. Barca 2-0.
