The album is scheduled for launch on August 19. It will be her fourth studio collection and will be released internationally on November 11. However, pre-orders are already available on iTunes come the album's launching date.

Pop icon Lady Gaga will be performing her first single from her latest album titled Applause, on MTV Video Music Awards this year. The music awards will be held on August 25th at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Lady Gaga shared via twitter an image pertaining to her latest single Applause from her latest album. The image is evidently art-inspired. Lady Gaga's face appeared on the image with a paint-smeared face, with the make-up similar to a mime.

Gaga first tweeted the image of her album cover, with her seated and naked.The album will be distributed by Interscope Records come its international release schedule on November 11. This is good and happy news for Lady Gaga's fans, specially after her hip injury last February, which led Lady Gaga to post-pone her Born This Way tour.

Aside from a new single and album, Lady Gaga will also release an app, which she noted as "a musical and visual engineering system that combines music, art, fashion and technology." This is a well suited fusion of her artistic expression which is not only relevant in her music but can also be observed in her fashion and lifestyle. A direct exhibition of such is her meat dress during the MTV Video Music awards last 2010. She was also rumored to have recuperated while seated on a 24K golden wheel chair to help her mobilization during her hip injury.

The pop icon has been recently admitted to have been inspired by performance artists and she was also seen at an arts related charity event in the Hamptons. It doesn't come as a surprise then should her latest album has inclination towards the arts.
