Lady Gaga has claimed that she feels like she is an artist. She also said that motherhood messes up an artist's creativity, so she does not want to have babies in her near future.

According to the eccentric singer, motherhood has high demands and a negative impact on one's creativity. She prefers to just concentrate on her music career instead.

"I'm terrified of babies. I think, creatively, as a woman, you change once you give birth," she said.

"I'm totally not ready for that."

Gaga also admitted that her ex-boyfriend had helped her become Lady Gaga.

"I wouldn't have been as successful without him," she said.

"I've never really loved anyone like I loved him. Or like I love him. That relationship really shaped me. It made me into a fighter."

Meanwhile, Gaga revealed that she has finished recording her new album. The record is set for release next year, the title of which will be unveiled at midnight on New Year's Eve.

"I think I'm gonna get the album title tattooed on me and put out the photo," she told Rolling Stone.

Gaga said that her new tracks are angrier and contains more political messages.

"Why are we still talking about 'Don't ask, don't tell?' It's like, what f***ing year is it? It makes me crazy! And I have been for three years baking cakes - and now I'm going to bake a cake that has a bitter jelly. The message of the new music is now more bitter than it was before. Because the sweeter the cake, the more bitter the jelly can be," she said.

The upcoming album will be Gaga's fourth release, following 'The Fame', bonus collection 'The Fame Monster' and this year's 'The Remix'.

"I've been working on it for months now, and I feel very strongly that it's finished right now. It came so quickly. Some artists take years; I don't. I write music every day," the 24-year-old singer explained.
