After dominating the airwaves with her hit songs, Lady Gaga is reportedly setting her eyes on pursuing a career in film.

The “Born This Way” hitmaker has been reported browsing through a number of film scripts sent to her by still unidentified movie moguls in hopes to entice her to appear on the big screen.

Cover Media said in a report that the “Alejandro” singer asked her mother, Cynthia Germanotta, for advice on which film projects would be right for her.

“Gaga loves films and this is the next step for her. Stacks of offers have come in and she hasn’t had time to take a look until now,” Cover Media quoted a source as telling Britain’s The Sun newspaper.

“It’s really important her first film is good as it will set the benchmark for future work,” the source added, according to Cover Media.

This is not the first time however that the news about the movie plans of the 25-year-old controversial singer has surfaced the web.

In August last year, Lady Gaga was reported in talks with “X-Men” director Bryan Singer to make a movie. The buzz last year had reported Lady Gaga to star in her own film.

"GaGa is a real creative genius and is thinking about new possibilities all the time. She's very excited about a movie, but she wants to do it right. She wants to work with the best people in the business," a source was quoted telling News of the World by Digital Spy.
