With the recent split from her ex boyfriend Taylor Kinney, a picture of Lady Gaga flashing an "engagement ring" surfaces from Terry Richardson's Twitter page.

Just recently, celebrity photographer Terry Richardson posted series of photos of Lady Gaga linked to his blog. One particular photo caption "Gaga showing off her engagement ring!" caught everyone's attention.

Once again on Twitter, the ultimate social networking platform for gossips, Terry Richardson caused a stir with the controversial photo of Lady Gaga. It was a photograph of the 26-year-old singer showing her hand with a big rock on her wedding finger.

However, the rumor is a big hoax. Sources have told in TMZ that Lady Gaga is not engaged.

As the singer just recently broke up with her "Vampire Diaries" star boyfriend; it would be conflicting if she was in fact engaged. Most importantly, she broke up with Kinney because she finds it hard to keep a relationship while she is busy with her "Born This Way Ball" tour, so why the singer get into a relationship more so, get engaged?

According to Gagadaly.com, the singer was wearing a ring that was part of the merchandise for her world tour concert.

Gaga was recently spotted in Japan for her three-day concert in Tokyo. She was seen arriving at the Narita airport with bright colored rainbow tresses where she was warmly greeted by her Japanese fans.

Although openly accepted in Japan, Gaga was scrutinized by Muslims in Jakarta, Indonesia believing that the singer promotes evil worship. The singer is set to perform in a string of concert all over Asia including countries like Singapore, Manila, Taipei and Bangkok.
