Lady Gaga Posts Underwear Pictures: ‘This is who I am’ [PHOTOS]
Lady Gaga slams all her critics by posting several pictures of herself while wearing only her underwear.
The singer has come under fire when she was criticized for her fuller figure during her recent concert. Lady Gaga who used to sport a thinner and slender figure was judged for looking more curvy and "meaty" nowadays.
She later on came in defense and said that the reason behind her weight gain was her father's delicious cooking. Coming from an Italian family, they surely must enjoy cooking and eating. Joe Germanotta, Lady Gaga's father, owns a restaurant in New York and the singer admits to dropping off the eatery every chance she can.
On her official website last Tuesday, Lady Gaga posted shocking pictures of herself and admitted that she has been suffering from bulimia and anorexia since she was 15-year-old.
"My boyfriend prefers me curvier. When I eat I am healthy and not so worried about my looks, I'm happy. Happier than I've ever been," Lady Gaga added.
The 26-year-old singer stretched and let herself be photographed wearing merely her bra and underwear and captioned the pictures, "But today I join BODY REVOLUTION. To inspire BRAVERY."
"I am not going to go on a psycho-spree because of scrutiny. This is who I am. And I am proud at any size," the singer continued.
The recent pictures were her public response for all the scrutiny that she has been receiving since she was photographed on her concert tour last week. Lady Gaga however, claimed that she indeed piled on some weight and gained about 25 pounds.
But today, she decides to launch a sub-section on her website called Body Revolution. Its main purpose was to put confidence in those who are being bullied or criticized for the way they are.
"But today I join the BODY REVOLUTION. To Inspire Bravery. And BREED some m$therf**king COMPASSION. My mother and I created the BORN THIS WAY FOUNDATION for one reason: to inspire bravery. This profile is an extension of that dream. Be brave and celebrate with us your perceived flaws, as society tells us. May we make our flaws famous, and thus redefine the heinous."
