Lady Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, proudly posted an Instagram photo of her once slim but now curvy body. "Curvy and Proud," read the caption on the said photo. Click HERE to see the photo from her official Instagram account.

The black and white photo shows Lady Gaga sitting on the hood of a car while wearing a fur coat and a pair of stilettos. She's also holding her sunglasses. Some may argue that the said photo doesn't really depict a curvy body because she still looks like her usual slim self.

The 28-year-old artist decided to address the numerous comments about her body and her weight gain by simply posting the photograph on Instagram. She has been receiving mean and hurtful comments because of her recent performance in Las Vegas, Nevada at the MGM Grand Garden Arena for her "ArtRave: The Artpop Ball" concert tour.

According to The Daily Mail, Lady Gaga joked about gaining weight in March 2014 because she ate a lot of barbecue. Compared to her svelte figure in the "Poker Face," "Born this Way" and "The Edge of Glory" videos, she does appear to have gained a few pounds. Lady Gaga has previously admitted that she suffered from the eating disorders Bulimia and Anorexia since she was just 15 years old. She even posted photos of herself on the Little Monsters Web site, on the page titled "A Body Revolution 2013." These photos were posted on Sept. 25, 2012.

Because of her previous eating disorders, she is in danger of sliding back to it, if left unchecked and unsupervised. Good thing she's being very positive about it and appears to be embracing her new look. Let's hope that she continues to be proud of her curvy body and not care about the mean and nasty comments about her weight. This could be the continuation of her body revolution. Maybe it will even rub off on her bashers. After all, her fans don't seem to care about how she looks, including one of her biggest fans, boyfriend Taylor Kinney ("Chicago Fire" and "Chicago P.D."). They reportedly met on the set of her music video "You and I" in 2011.
