What is more shocking than posing nude? Well if you are a Lady Gaga fan, you will know it. The "Born This Way" singer has taken using props in her videos to a whole new level and is displaying (hold your breath...) a prosthetic arm in the promotional pictures of her upcoming album ARTPOP.

Gaga can do anything to grab attention and this time the singer has posted a picture of herself on Twitter where she is holding that prosthetic arm. The singer can be seen wearing her long straight hair ( no pinks or blonde this time but natural soft brown color) over her front body and the other arm covering the rest of her chest. She is seen wearing black tights and high wedged footwear and is bent down with a look of frown on her face. Gaga's tattoos are also visible on her left arm.

The photo caption reads, "THIS IS THAT ARM."

So what is her explanation for the arm? Well here it is if you thing you can decipher it, "i share these personal feelings because IF I HAD TO GO ANOTHER MONTH WITHOUT PLAYING THE NEW MUSIC I THINK ID CHEW MY ARM OFF."

The 27-year-old singer also teased her fans by telling them that she is listening to the songs from her new album ARTPOP. "i am listening to the album #ARTPOP11DAYS" adding "I know maybe this upsets you, as you'd very much like to hear it #ARTPOP11DAYS."

Gaga also shared a photo of her with her "Applause" music video directors Inez and Vinoodh. "I can't wait for you to see the 'Applause' video 8.19, directed by my darling friends @inezandvinoodh !!"

ARTPOP is the third studio album by Lady Gaga set for a release date of November 11 this year. However the singer is running a countdown for its lead single "Applause" on Twitter which is set to be released on August 19.

Lady Gaga has also released an ARTPOP app free for her fans on Google's play store and Apple's iTunes. The fans can buy her single "Applause" from both the stores and also pre-book for the album ARTPOP beginning September.
