Lady Gaga stirred up social media and press with speculations about her being pregnant with her first baby. During her brief appearance in New York, she flaunted what appeared to be baby bump.

According to Daily Star, the "Bad Romance" singer was dressed in "floor-length red gown" that showed off her curves well. She wore a sheer red lip colour to match the colour of her attire. Her fuller body and her gestures reportedly "sent an indication of impending motherhood." It is noted that there was a moment when Lady Gaga even "placed a protective hand on her tummy."

Several media outlets including OK! Magazine is speculating that Lady Gaga "may be expecting her first child." The aforementioned website has published some pictures of the songstress noting that her sequined-dress "highlighted her middle."

However, in the absence of confirmation from associated persons, the news remains unconfirmed and can be considered as a rumour. But the news did evoke reactions from her fans on Twitter. Scroll down to read some posts.

The "Poker Face" singer has been slammed with pregnancy rumours many a times. According to Inquisitr, her weight "has fluctuated from time to time." It is reported that back in 2012, the songstress' sudden weight gain led her fans to believe that she is pregnant-but she wasn't.

The pregnancy rumour sparked up just few days after Lady gaga opened up about her romance with her long-time boyfriend Taylor Kinney. For those unfamiliar, the two have been together for almost three years. Taylor Kinney is an actor who is best known for his roles in "Zero Dark Thirty" and "Chicago Fire."

In a radio show interview, Lady Gaga gushed about her boyfriend and revealed that "he is the right guy for her." Speaking to Howard Stern on Sirius XM radio show (via ABC News) the singer star dished out how he supported her during her tour. At the same time, she denied secret engagement and marriage rumours. Even though she hasn't revealed a date for the ceremony yet but confirmed that it wouldn't be a very public affair.
