Lady Gaga's ex sued over The Fame album profits
Lady Gaga's ex boyfriend and producer Rob Fusari is haunted by a $1,000,000 lawsuit filed by a co-producer for allegedly cheating on profits.
Disputes have been filed against Lady Gaga's former lover and producer, Rob Fusari, for not giving profits to Calvin "Sci-Fidelity" Gaines. Gaines co-produced Gaga's hit albums The Fame and The Fame Monster, and worked on hits such as Paparazzi, Disco Heaven, Rich, Retro Dance and Dirty. According to Gaines, he "collaborated and co-authored" these hits together with Gaga's recording team, and he deserves a bit of the multi-million dollar profit. Gaines says he hadn't recieved any honorarium from Fusari or anyone from Lady Gaga's team.
The court papers were filed at the Manhattan Federal court proclaiming the involvement of Gaines in four Lady Gaga songs. However, no legal actions have been done or released by Fusari's legal team. Fusari denies this accusation and expresses his distraught over the allegations. He says Gaines is "trying to extort money" on a report posted at News.com.au.
Just recently, Lady Gaga was named highest paid celebrity under 30 by Forbes magazine for earning nearly $30 million USD last year alone. Lady Gaga has also been named fashion icon of the year by prestigious award-giving body CFDA. The singer is set to perform an exclusive concert for her Australian fans on July 13th at the Sydney Concert Hall.
