Lamar Odom seems to be ready to finally get the right help that he really needs. As reported by Hollywoodlife.com, Odom has enrolled himself in a rehab facility in Malibu, California. The program will run for three months, and it was reported it has already paid in full.

Khloe Kardashian has reportedly been giving her full support to her estranged husband. After all, it was what Khloe wanted from the very beginning, for Lamar to get help, and maybe she will welcome him back to their home. Khloe even made a call to the institution. She was asked by Lamar to help him call the rehab.

Lamar seems to be really headed towards the right direction. The gossip entertainment Web site TMZ has religiously been following the basketball star. TMZ has reported that the former NBA player has even tried kicking out drugs on his own. It was reported that Lamar had gone sober for 5 daysto try to get rid the drugs out of his system. He even got rid of some of his acquaintance so he doesn't go back to his old habit.

It was reported that Lamar has had a few meetings with the Lakers management too, hopeful to get a comeback in the most popular basketball league.

At a birthday party where Lamar was a guest, he even gave advice to a young boy who had approached him. "Don't do drugs," Lamar told the boy.

Lamar, who has lost so much weight because of his drug problems, is also reportedly getting his appetite back. He has been eating healthy.

This would not be the first time that Lamar would check himself in an institution. The 33-year-old former Lakers player has already enrolled in a rehab on Sept 4. However, he left the very next day. Everyone deserves second chances. Maybe Lamar is really ready to get professional help this time.
