The current signs point out that Lamar Odom's marriage with Khloe Kardashian is definitely over after she was spotted going out with rapper French Montana a number of times. A new report reveals that Lamar is ready to put his hands up and give up because he is expected to file his response in the coming weeks on the divorce that Khloe filed. Even though his marriage is doomed, Lamar has something to be thankful about after the New York Knicks signed him for the remainder of the current National Basketball Association (NBA) season.

In February, it has been reported that Khloe was demanding Lamar to do his part on their divorce proceedings. She wanted him to take action so that both of them can move on completely. It looks like Khloe would get her wish soon.

An insider told RadarOnline.com that Lamar now gets the message. It is clear as crystal that their marriage is over. Khloe doesn't have to literally tell it to Lamar's face. The fact that she had been enjoying herself in the last four months after she filed for divorce by going out with The Game, Matt Kemp and now with French Montana, it is more than enough to show that she has moved on from him. Moreover, Khloe's indifferent attitude of not answering or returning Lamar's calls is another impression that she has no intentions of reconciling with Lamar. These are probably the reasons why Lamar thinks it would be proper to formally submit his response to their ongoing divorce.

"There was a time when Lamar said he would never give up on getting back together with Khloe, but he recognizes she has obviously moved on," the insider dissed. When Lamar returned to the U.S. after his short basketball stint in Spain, he revealed that he wanted to win Khloe back, but not anymore now.

"He will tell his attorney to submit a response to Khloe's divorce petition," the insider further added.

"It isn't expected to be a long drawn out divorce, since there is an iron clad prenup in the place."

The Web site further reported that aside from working on his NBA return, Lamar has been spending a lot of time with Liza Morales, his former wife and mother of his two children. However, the insider was quick to clarify that the recent get-together between Lamar and Liza were purely platonic. "It's only family time."

Odom Signs With New York Knicks

Lamar's love life may be doomed but not his career. Over the past few days, reports about the 34-year-old basketball athlete signing with the New York Knicks have been speculated in the Internet. The New York Daily News confirmed that the rumour is true. Lamar is signed with the Knicks for the remainder of the NBA season. He is anticipated to start training with the rest of the team on April 17. Lamar's former coach Phil Jackson will supervise his training, but he reportedly also wanted a couple of their coaching adherents to work with him too.

Do you think Lamar's NBA return can help him thrive in the middle of his divorce with Khloe?
