Once the sixth man of the year, Lamar Odom's dreams of returning to NBA are in jeopardy. Hollywoodlife.com has reported that league GMs are still not sure about signing Lamar owing to his rocky past.

Though there are very bleak chances of Lamar's NBA return, Khloe Kardashian's ex husband, with a clincher of hope, is still training round the clock and is shooting the baskets.

Reportedly Lamar has hoped that giving up on drugs will brighten up his chances of NBA return and teams will consider him for a fresh chance. In his wake to play again, Lamar even met L.A. Clipper and Lakers, however both the teams have now decided otherwise and Lamar may have to wait till another season.

A source told Hollywoodlife.com, "In the back of his mind, way back there, he knows his NBA career is finished. But because he's determined and hoping for a miracle, he's staying healthy."

Lamar Odom allegedly took to drugs last year, which not only harmed his NBA career but also derailed his marriage with Khloe Kardashian.

If the sources close to Khloe Kardashian are to be believed then the reality star tried her best to help Lamar with his drug problems. However, the later just couldn't give up the addiction, which not only cost him his career but also his four- year -old marriage.

Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian have already filed for divorce and they have also sold off their more than $4 million mansion in Tarzana, California, which they once shared during happier times.

Apparently, now that Lamar's NBA return is austere, he will be living off the income, which will come from the selling of the house.

A source told Hollywoodlife.com, "He's getting half of the money coming from the sale of his and Khloe's old crib so he's good," adding, "He's thankful for those coins too and he's hoping that the exchange and everything unraveling with him and Khloe will go as smoothly as possible."

Well, in spite of the odds Lamar's fans still hope that soon they will see him in the court or if not NBA there is definitely something else (except drugs) waiting for him out there. Meanwhile, Khloe Kardashian is rumored to be dating Matt Kemp.
