Various sports commission confirmed the news published by TMZ where it states that the NBA Star Lamar Odom is a victim of an addiction to crack. Sports Illustrated was the first one to publish and quoted the news source from TMZ.

According to TMZ, Odom spends approximately $800 daily during the summer to support his addiction. It is a good thing that he is making millions of dollars playing for NBA. Otherwise, he would not have been able to pay for his costly drug habit.

In recent weeks, it was said that Khloe Kardashian's husband was missing. However, his agent, Jeff Schwartz, said, "Lamar is not lost. His wife exactly knows where he is." This is the time where Odom's addiction has worsened.

Apparently, Odom moved out of their home and rented a room at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood. It was reported that the room was some sort of like a flop house where Odom's friends, fellow drug users, and even guests would come in and out of the hotel room, supposedly to help him fight his addiction. However, it continues to worsen with the passage of time.

Khloe Kardashian's patience, on the other hand, seems to be wearing off. "She is tired and fed up of the situation and just wants Lamar to get better," said a source close to Khloe. What makes their marriage even worse is that it has been reported that Odom is having an affair with Polina Polonsk, an alleged ex-lover of the basketball athlete, who also confirmed his addiction. Neither Lamar nor Khloe has consulted a lawyer about their marriage, according to TMZ.

It would not be the first time that the couple becomes involved in controversies. With his addiction and rumored infidelity, separation is imminent.
