Lamar Odom News: To Meet With the Lakers, Is Lamar Ready for a Comeback?
A lot of people would definitely welcome Lamar Odom back to Los Angeles Lakers.
As reported by TMZ, Lamar got a good haircut on Monday. The 33-year-old basketball player visited A Cut Above barbershop for a trim. It was also reported that later on the same day, Lamar was supposed to have a meeting with the Lakers executives to talk about a possible comeback.
It appears that Lamar certainly knows how to get his act cleaned up prior to meeting with the executives. The NBA star is absolutely on the right track to get his basketball career back.
Enzo Alberto, the barber who serviced Lamar, posted a photo on his Instagram. "It was an honour lacing up a future Lakers legend Lamar Odom," said Alberto. "Spoke ball and Lakers, and we have something in common now," Alberto added.
"Lamar still gets the star on the back of his head like when he played with the Lakers, and speaking of which, wish him the best of luck in his meeting with the Lakers today," Alberto posted.
TMZ were told that the meeting went well. However, no contract has been signed yet.
As it is, the future of Lamar's NBA career remains vague and still undecided. When Lamar left Lakers, he played for the Dallas Mavericks and the Los Angeles Clippers. However, Lamar has expressed his interest of returning to the Lakers. TMZ also reported that the Los Angeles Lakers is still the first choice of Lamar if he ever gets to play again.
It seems that Lamar is actually fit for a comeback in the NBA. It has been initially reported that he was tested negative for drugs. Who knows? Lamar will actually be able to play with the Los Angeles Lakers next season. With all that Lamar has been through for the past few months, he truly deserves another big break in his career.
