Lamar Odom is reportedly to sign a contract with Los Angeles Clippers, reported by TMZ.

TMZ got caught up with Odom at the Los Angeles International Airport and he confirmed the news. Odom told TMZ that talks are currently in progress for a possible comeback to the Clippers.

Clippers coach Doc Rivers has also verified the reports. As reported by ESPN, Rivers met with Odom on Friday.

"I have always had interest in Lamar," said Rivers. "I have always liked him," he added. "All the teams that Lamar has played on as well as the coaches who have coached him previously have always liked him, however, to tell you honestly, the meeting didn't go much further than that," Rivers said.

It has been reported that Rivers and Odom has been exchanging text messages before the meeting.

"I just wanted to see how Lamar is doing physically, it was really just that," said Rivers. "I thought he looked good and great, he looked like he had lost some weight but he is in good shape," said Rivers. "But that doesn't mean a lot," Rivers concluded.

It has been previously reported that Lamar is slowly trying to get his act cleaned up. Lamar is indeed focused to get his basketball career back.

Odom has already played for Clippers for a total of 5 years. He has played for the team from 1999 to 2003 and for the 2012-2013. The Clippers has selected Odom as the fourth overall pick. During his first season with the team, Odom has averaged 16.6 points. While with the Clippers, he became a member of the 2000 NBA All-Rookie First Team.

Odom has already expressed his interest of playing for the Clippers. He told the Los Angeles Times before that the only team he would play for when he returns to NBA is the Clippers.

Good luck to Lamar.
