Lara Bingle's new reality show, "Being Lara Bingle," is set to air on June 12 at TEN. She is now busy talking to the media about what to expect in the 10-part series.

One of the questions Bingle answered: Was the scandal involving nude photos of her just a ruse for the promos?

Scandal not a set-up

"It was not a set-up," Bingle told Andrew Murfett of Brisbane Times

"The show is a chance for the truth to come out about it ... Shit just seems to happen to me." added Bingle.

Details into the scandal involving Bingle's unauthorized nude photos will be seen in the first couple of episodes of Being Lara Bingle.

As Bingle was busy filming her own reality series, news came out that her ex-fiancee, Australian cricketer Michael Clarke, secretly married model and presenter Kyly Boldy.

Bingle reacts to Clarke's secret wedding

It will be recalled that over two years ago, nude photos of Bingle taken by former boyfriend/fling Brendan Fevola came out amid new that her engagement with Clarke was on the rocks.

What were Bingle's thoughts about Clarke's wedding?

"I didn't know he was getting married, so that was a shock, yes. And we'll deal with it on the show," said the model-turned-reality-star.

Being Lara Bingle: Review

In his review of the first episode of Being Lara Bingle, Sydney Morning Herald's Greg Hassall wrote that the first part of the series was "entertaining."

"Ultimately the show works because Bingle has a weird but undeniable charm. There's an innocence, a guileless vapidity about her that is strangely beguiling," Hassall wrote further.

The program's production company Eye Works is currently renting a posh Bondi apartment for the show. The rent is at $4500 per week for the $8-million beachfront property.

The "Cast"

Lara is joined by her manager, Hermione Underwod, and older brother Joshua in the series. Her mother will also be seen speaking up in her defence. Two weeks before the series officially airs, there are rumors that Lara's brother Josh has already drawn in a good following among Aussie girls.
