Larry King, Ryan Seacrest sings "Poker Face"
Larry King and Ryan Seacrest in a new video clip performs Lady Gaga's "Poker Face" on air. The former CNN talk show host Larry King stopped by Seacrest's radio show and performed a duet of the pop star's hit song, with King saying at the end of the clip "that was Lerner and Leowe" referring to the duo of lyricists for the Broadway play My Fair Lady.
"Larry King and I has the gift of songs one of the many reasons why we're such good friends, we share that gift with good people once in a while," Seacrest is heard opening the clip. Hollywood top-earning host Ryan Seacrest started the song while Larry King finished the lyrics.
Before the performance, King is heard asking Seacrest "Is this the one Gershwin wrote?" to which the American Idol host answered in the negative. Seacrest then asked Larry King if he was nervous, to which the talk show host sarcastically said, "No!"
"Is this my career?," asked King. The CNN host announced last June 29 this year that after 25 years, he will be stepping down from his nightly job hosting Larry King Live. But he also stated that he will still remain with CNN to gost occassional specials.
The video Larry King Sings "Poker Face" is now available on YouTube with over 60, 000 views. The rendition, which is honestly tone-deaf, is receiving kind reviews from users with one fan saying "I love that Ryan Seacrest host the most popular [singing] competition and can't even hold a tune." Larry King, according to one user, was "the coolest guy" he had ever seen.
