Las Vegas Club Owners May Ban Mayweather From Joints Because Boxer Allegedly Sexually Harasses Strippers
Which is a more powerful motivator - the oodles of money that American boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr brings whenever he visits establishments or pressure from the Las Vegas Metro Police Department?
TMZ reports that the cops have called owners of Las Vegas strip clubs and warned them not to let Mayweather in because he allegedly sexually harasses the joints' strippers.
The entertainment Web site quoted a law enforcement source as saying, "He [Floyd] goes in and pulls out a 'Do you know who I am' and does inappropriate things with some of the women."
But some club owners said they would not heed the police advice since they never had problems with the unbeaten boxer in the past. Money May has also denied the police claim, saying he has not done anything wrong while in strip clubs.
However, Mayweather has a record of engaging in fisticuffs with rapper 50 Cent, once a business partner of the boxer, in a fast food restaurant over the musician's wife, Tiny, sparked by suspicions that Mayweather had slept with her.
Mayweather likewise have convictions of beating women and has a pending lawsuit filed by former fiancé Shantel Jackson for domestic abuse. But with his estimated over $400 million earnings and status as the highest-paid professional athlete, it would not be surprising that strippers wouldn't mind being "manhandled" by Money May so long as they get paid.
