'The Last Witch Hunter' : New Vin Diesel Photo In Warrior Costume Surfaces, Actor Says Kaulder's Character Is Like Nothing He Has Done Before
Vin Diesel has recently shared a new still from his upcoming movie, "The Last Witch Hunter," on his Facebook page. In the snap the actor is seen dressed in his character Kaulder. He is standing in forest with fire in the background. He has captioned the photo as "The role of Kaulder is like nothing I have ever done before...The Last Witch Hunter, October 23rd 2015."
The photo has received 468,943 hits till date and has been shared 3000 times. In the film Diesel plays an immortal witch hunter who goes on a mission to save New York City from plague. In order to accomplish his goal, he teams up with a female witch. They both share an uneasy alliance, as Kaulder has never thought of partnering with her. "Game of Thrones" actress Rose Leslie plays the role of female witch.
"The Last Witch Hunter" is a supernatural action thriller and has been produced by Lions Gate Entertainment. The film would be shot in various locations in Pittsburgh. Diesel's character would live amidst the world of magic and reality. "The Last Witch Hunter" is being directed by Breck Eisner of " The Crazies" fame and has been scripted by Cory Goodman.
"The more we film, the more I think you will really enjoy this movie. Kaulder is a very unique and interesting character, who has lived for centuries with one foot in reality and the other, in the realm of magic," Diesel said to Screen Rant.The film also stars Elijah Wood, who played Frodo Baggins in "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy, Sir Michael Caine, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, Julie Engelbrecht and Lotte Verbeek.
The production house is reportedly expecting huge profits from the film. Apart from "The Last Witch Hunter", Diesel would also be seen in sequels of "Riddick," "xXx "and "Guardians of the Galaxy." Meanwhile, Diesel's another much anticipated film "Furious 7," would be hitting the theatres in April 2015. The first trailer of the film has already been released. The film is a sequel to "Fast & Furious 6," and has been directed by James Wan. Diesel plays the lead protagonist Dominic Toretto, who is a street racer and an ex-convict.
