Laura Prepon has finally broken her silence and has indicated that her role in the upcoming, second season of "Orange is the New Black" may not just be limited to an episode and she is for sure returning for season two.

It was earlier reported that Laura may 'not' return as a series regular in "Orange is the New Black" Season 2. Also, Buzzfeed had reported that "the actress is scheduled to appear in only one episode" to wrap-up her character's, Alex Vause, storyline.

At the sidelines of the Variety/Women in Film party on Friday, Laura finally assured that she is "definitely coming back for season two."

"I know what's happening, but I can't spoil anything, But I'm definitely coming back for season two. I know there's a lot floating around, but I can't wait to get back there. It's exciting," the actress said as quoted by The Variety.

In "Orange is the New Black," Laura's character Alex Vause is the ex-girlfriend of the principal character, Piper Chapman (Taylor Schilling). Both the characters are serving their prison terms in the same prison.

The season one of "Orange is the New Black" hit all the right chords and gave Netflix another hit drama series in its basket of original programming after "House of Cards."

Talking about the popularity of "Orange is the New Black," Laura said: "I don't think anybody was. It's so awesome, and the fans have just been so supportive. It's really unbelievable. People have said a bunch of really nice things."

Laura's co-star, Uzo Aduba, told the HuffPost Live that she is not aware about the status of Laura in the new season of "Orange is the New Black." "I don't know -- I can't speak on that," Uzo said in the interview.

"... but what I do know is that we have an exciting season; I know that everybody on the show is phenomenal; I know Laura's amazing; I know that we have exciting stories to tell again this season as we did the last. I can't wait for people to see it."

The shooting of "Orange is the New Black" Season 2 is currently going on in New York. The second season is scheduled to premiere sometime in 2014.
