Lea Michele Tweets a Lonely Picture Of Self But Says "Feels So Good to be Home" For Glee Season 5
Nearly 3 weeks after the sad demise of Cory Monteith, his girlfriend and co-star, Lea Michele, was back to work and recorded a song on Monday for "Glee's" upcoming season. The 26-year-old actress was seen wearing a special necklace that spells "Cory."
Lea tweeted a picture of her sitting in a deserted room with no one around and the caption of the picture read, "Feels so good to be home....#GleeSeason5". The picture had sepia tone and apparently portrayed the Michele's inner feeling where she does feel good, on the one hand, to resume shooting, but is empty inside, on the other hand.
"Thank you Alex Anders and Adam Anders for a great recording session today.. You guys are the best," the Lea Michele tweeted. "Couldn't have picked a more beautiful & perfect song to start the year with.."
"You were absolutely magnificent today. I am in awe of your strength and your sweet spirit. Love you. #leastrong," "Glee's" vocal producer and recording engineer, Alex Anders, tweeted back.
"You are the strongest person I know. That was truly amazing. Love you xoxo #leastrong," Adam added.
Michele already buried herself in work after Cory's death and was also seen attending Jamie Lynn Siegler's baby shower.
The show was preparing for a special tribute to Monteith that will be aired in the third episode and was expected to "deal directly with the incidents involved in Cory's passing and the drug abuse in particular" to make sense of his character's departure, New York Daily reported.
The filming schedule for the show was postponed due to Monteith's death last July 13. Lea Michele's boyfriend, 31-year-old Cory, was found dead in a hotel room in Canada after overdosing on a combination of heroin and alcohol.
The fifth season of Glee will premiere on Fox Sept. 26. On Aug. 1, Michele tweeted, "First day of glee today... And at my first wardrobe fitting for Rachel Berry for Season Five! I've missed her so much."
Proceeds from the music sales for the third episode will go toward a fun in the late actor's memory.
