Leaked Android 4.3 for Nexus 4: What You Need to Watch Out For
Google's event this week got everyone anticipating what the tech giant has in store for everyone. Scheduled on July 24, speculations going around indicate that Google may be finally unveiling their Nexus 7.2 and the new Android 4.3.
Suffice to say there is much hype going around. Rumours and reports pile up every day, anticipating what Google has in store - looks like the cat is out of the bag with this latest leak. According to the latest leak, the tech giant has already developed the Android 4.3. The operating system platform will be available for the Nexus 4.
According to AndroidCommunity.com, the leak was from a recent purchase on Craigslist. The person that goes by the name Jeff Williams, a supposed Google employee, put up a Nexus 4 for sale. The device was running on a non-public version of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
This resulted to a system dump. Currently, the file is available on a forum thread on MEGA and on a xda-developers site. However, there is also catch to the supposed leak.
Firstly, the file shared cannot be flashable. Instead, users can share it as a TWRP backup file. This means users must install custom recover. Given this, it boils down to loading on the file on the memory card and proceeding with restore. Another important point is that the original file does not have a bootloader and radio.
There seems to be minimum changes with the new Nexus, but Google needs to make the official announcement. People will have to wait to see what the new Android 4.3 and the new Nexus will offer.
