The tablet rumoured to be called Nexus 9 is manufactured by HTC and will sports an 8.9 inch display. Fresh images that were leaked on the internet give the first impression of the device. The leaked images proved that the previous rumours were wrong. The new images indicates that the upcoming tablet has a matte plastic back and not the metal finish that rumours had stated earlier. The image was posted on twitter by Upleaks. According to Aivanet.com the leaked images of the Nexus 9 looks more like the Nexus 5. Its design, camera and logo at the back of the Nexus 9 closely resemble the Nexus 5.
The HTC Nexus 9 also called the Volantis has specifications that will give any tablet a run for its money. It has a 9 inch display with Quad HD 2,560 x 1,600 resolution. This device has an Android L operating system and is powered by NVIDIA's Tegra K1 chip architecture with Kepler graphics and 192 shader cores.

This tells us how powerful the Nexus 9 would be.
The HTC Nexus 9 will be a tablet apt for gaming. The graphics that are used in games will come alive in their full potential in the Nexus 9. It is rumoured that Wi-Fi and LTE models are to be made available in the 16 GB and 32 GB variant. This would be announced officially by Google sometime in the near future.
