Lebron James shows off his very own limited edition Royal Oak Chronograph Watch by Audemars Piguet.

The four-time Most Valuable Player has teamed up with Swiss watchmaker to design and come up with a limited edition watch. It is reportedly worth an astounding $51,000 and only 600 pieces are to be sold all over the world. Its color is rose gold with a light grey crocodile strap. It comes with a pink gold case, black ceramic, and diamond set push pieces. Wow! It really is some watch, don't you think?

Audemars Piguet has worked with various athletes before, such as Shaquille O'Neal and Keegan Bradley, to name a few. "Lebron is, beyond doubt, a unique individual," said Audemars Piguet CEO Francois-Henry Bennahmias. "We knew that we would do something together from the very first time that we met, there was a good connection," he added.

Lebron's signature is printed in blue on the back of the watch on the sapphire crystal. " I like to put a little of personal trace in anything I do or have partnership with anyone that has my name on it," Lebron said.

According to CNBC, Lebron is an ardent watch collector.

On Sunday, Lebron posted a picture of the pricey and luxurious watch on his Instagram account. Its captions reads "My very own inspired @audemarspiguet Royal Oak Offshore, Rose Gold/Grey combo, Man every day I wake up I know I'm blessed so I don't take this forgranted!" He added the hashtags "#MyOwnWatchThough #Crazy #JustAKidFromAkronOhio."

Another follow-up picture of Lebron wearing the watch was posted on the same day. "Living a dream every day I wake up," he posted as the caption.

This lavish watch is definitely fit for a king like King James himself. He has been ranked as one of the most influential athletes in the world by Forbes. Will people patronise the new product his promoting? Is it worth all the money? What do you think?
