“The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” fans will be treated to more footage of the big release during Thursday’s The Game Awards 2016 event. Nintendo has promised to do so and provide an exclusive look at the game when the program airs. The event is an annual celebration of the gaming industry.

As per Venture Beat, the event will start 5.30pm Pacific Time on Dec. 1. Fans won’t miss this opportunity to be treated to exclusive details on “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.”
“The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” will have a 2017 release on Wii U and upcoming Nintendo Switch hybrid handheld/home console. Even though Nintendo hasn’t confirmed whether it will show off the Wii U or Switch version during the event, fans definitely want that to happen.
Earlier this year, Nintendo showed “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” in detail at the Electronic Entertainment trade show in Los Angeles. The too, the publisher showed live streams to show its avid fans what they can expect. However, since that event in June, Nintendo has been totally silent.
This sudden announcement has created quite a buzz as “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” fans will be treated to more new stuff at The Game Awards 2016 before they enter into the final months of waiting. Nintendo America has posted a tweet that can be viewed here.
However, recent rumours have stated that “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” is perhaps going to miss its March 2017 release date. This will prevent it from becoming the Nintendo Switch launch title. Target has put a new launch date for the game and it is June 2017, writes GameRant.
