Legs Instead of Face: Anne Hathaway Chooses Beach Towels Barrier Over Paparazzi Taking Pictures of Her and Husband's Face
Anne Hathaway sure knows how to hide. The "Les Miserables" star and husband Adam Schulman were caught by reporters escorted by men who shrouded the couple with beach towels to completely hide the actress and her husband's face.
The legs, though, were still caught on cam as the couple walked passed the paparazzi. When a paparazzo called attention to Hathaway's legs, the actress was heard in the video giggling behind the towels.
TMZ reported that Hathaway did not like her photo taken after spending time at the beach with husband Schulman. The couple was in Miami, Florida in the U.S. for the promotion of Hathaway's new movie animated "Rio 2" where the actress's voice was used.
Hathaway will be voicing over for Jewel, a female Spix's macaw from Rio de Janeiro. "Rio 2" is set to hit theaters in the U.S. on April 11.
The 31-year-old actress was reported to want to have a break, take some time at the beach and get some tan. According to a Daily Mail report, Hathaway was spotted at the beach without makeup, enjoying a dip and splashing around with Schulman and friends.
The actress was photographed wearing a purple one-piece swimsuit and pink shorts while Schulman wore a white polo shirt with a small graphic heart on its left chest. Later on, the couple wrapped themselves with blue beach towels.
But when the actress was finally leaving the beach with Schulman, they came out with escorts covering them with makeshift barrier slash beach towels - the same one the couple used to dry themselves. Hathaway chose the beach towels as cover to avoid the paparazzi taking pictures of her and husband's face.
The couple looked to be in desperate move to shoo away the paparazzi.
According to another TMZ report, Anne Hathaway was also spotted in 2013 at LAX entering a total stranger's car and sitting there for at least 30 seconds until her ride arrives just to get away from a TMZ reporter.
The incident at LAX and at the Miami Beach showed that Hathaway had an obvious dislike for paparazzi, or at least a natural inclination to stir clear of them.
