Lenny Kravitz is set to go around Australia for numerous concerts in March 2012. This is the rockstar's first ever visit to the country after 18 years. The Cranberries will join him in this tour, as well as the local band, Wolfmother.

The 90s rock icon has been known for his very diverse sound, nose ring and leather pants. Children of the 90s will never forget the image of Kravitz especially with his electric guitar, aviator sunglasses and raspy singing voice.

Kravitz took the music world by storm with his great song writing skills that stunned a lot of his contemporaries. He also took part in the production of his albums, which speaks of his knowledge about music and the process it takes to create music that captures everyone's hearts.

His music albums were chart hits especially his debut album, 'Let Love Rule', 'Are You Gonna Go My Way', and '5'.

Lenny Kravitz took the music charts by storm back in the 90s with hits such as 'Are You Gonna Go My Way' and 'Always on the Run'. He did not stop rocking his way through the music scene and went back in the 2000s with hits such as 'Again' and 'Dig In'.

Kravitz also worked with other famous artists such as Madonna on her 1990 controversial hit, 'Justify My Love'.

He also made movie appearances in 'Zoolander', 'Being Mick', 'Rebelde', 'The Diving Bell and the Butterfly' and 'Precious', where he got nominated for the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture. He also lent his voice for a minor character in the 1998 'The Rugrats Movie'.

Lenny Kravitz and The Cranberries will join together for a tour of Australia in 2012. They will be visiting Sydney, Brisbane, Wollongong and Perth. Tour dates and specific locations are as follows:

March 17 - F1 Rocks, Sidney Myer Music Bowl, Melbourne

March 18 - F1 Rocks, Sidney Myer Music Bowl, Melbourne

March 20 - WIN Ent Centre, Wollongong

March 21 - Sydney Ent Centre, Sydney

March 24 - The Riverstage, Brisbane

March 28 - Athletics Stadium, Perth

Tickets for the tour will be on sale starting November 16 at 9 AM.
