Lenovo Attacks from Behind, Company Stealthily Releases A1000, A3000 and S6000 Tablets
Lenovo is joining the pack of tech manufacturers as it released another set of tablets. As the race for tablet domination goes on, Lenovo is not staying from behind. The company subtly released their A1000, A3000 and S6000 series.
The new tablet series from Lenovo belongs to the mid-range category. It went on sale without any big announcements from the company. As subtle as it the release was, analysts are noting that these tablets can make just the right impact. As they are priced quite affordably, there is a high potential for Lenovo to penetrate the low-cost market quite well.
Samsung has also started venturing out in the mid and low range tablets but the company still has to make the pricing right. The new slates from Lenovo start at just $149 a piece while the most expensive is at $279. The company offers some of the most affordable devices which can help them gain more costumers.
The A1000 features a 7-inch tablet display offering a 1024x600 resolution. It runs on 1.2GHz MTK dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM. Other features include front-facing speakers and Dolby Digital Plus. The device includes additional 16GB storage for just $149.
The A3000, on the other hand, features a similar design and display with the A1000 including similar 1024x600 panel. It runs on a quad-core 1.2GHz MTK processor instead of the dual on the first tablet.
S6000 features 10.1-inch display and 1280x800 IPS resolution. Other specs include 1GB of RAM, 1.2GHz MTK 8389/8125 quad-core processor plus 32GB of storage. The device starts at $279. All tablets feature Android 4.2.
