Lenovo is gearing up to join the battle for ultrabook supremacy. With the computer and tech manufacturers lining up to featuring Intel Haswell processors, Lenovo is poised to release its line of ultrabooks Haswells with their U430 and U330 and models.

The Lenovo IdeaPad U330 comes with a 13-inch display where as the IdeaPad U430 is at 14 inches. Both models will run on 4th-generation Intel processors. Users have the option of including touch screen displays or not.

The company has not announced yet when they will release the models in the United States and other countries but the Japanese website of the company already provided the specs for both models. Lenovo will be releasing the IdeaPad U330p and U330 Touch as well. The Lenovo IdeaPad U430 Touch has also been listed on an FCC website.

Speculations suggest that the 14 inch model will feature a Qualcomm Atheros wireless card. It also comes with Bluetooth and WiFi functions. As the name implies, users are treated to a 14-inch touch screen display.

There were more details hinted about the 13 inch model. Rumors have it that the 13-inch IdeaPad will have 8GB of Ram. It will also feature a 16GB solid state disk and 500GB hard drive. Other features include: an SD card reader, 2 USB 3.0 ports, 1 USB 2.0 port and HDMI. Users can choose from an Intel Core i3-4010U or Core i5-4200U processor for the IdeaPad U330.

Lenovo is set to release models in 10-point capacitive multitouch displays as well. Intel released an ultrabook guideline requiring manufacturers that laptops should have touch screens to be considered under the category. Unless there are touch panels, the devices will be categorized under notebooks instead of ultrabooks. The new computers will hit Japan in July. Colors include orange or gray.
