Aussie supermodel Miranda Kerr was reportedly asked out for date by Leonardo DiCaprio right after Orlando Bloom announced their split.

According to an insider cited by Standartnews, Orlando told Leonardo that he and Miranda have broken up a month ago. Leo comforted his friend by saying, "I know better than anybody - there are plenty of other fish in the sea."

Then Leo turned around to Miranda and asked her out on a date. The source further said that Orlando was shocked by Leo's sudden action and told the actor to back off until the divorce is final.

Meanwhile, Miranda Kerr may be launching her own singing and acting career. Miranda Kerr already has a lot of titles attached to her name. She is a world-renowned supermodel and endorser, an author and an entrepreneur but there is no stopping this Aussie beauty in exploring other fields.

It may not be long before we hear Miranda's voice on the radio. According to News Corp Australia, Miranda Kerr recorded some vocals for Australian crooner Bobby Fox. The supermodel declared her love for singing in one of her magazine interviews.

"I have recorded a couple of songs, actually, that no one knows about," said Kerr to the British Vogue magazine.

Aside from singing, Miranda Kerr may also debut in an acting career. The model may have caught the acting bug from her husband Orlando Bloom. The 30-year-old Aussie supermodel had a meeting with big time Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein. Weinstein's company is behind movies such as "Django Unchained," "The King's Speech" and "The Silver Linings Playbook."

Moreover, Miranda's new billionaire beau James Packer owns RatPac Entertainment, a movie financing venture under a $450 million deal with Warner Bros.
