Many could have predicted that it won't take too long before Leonardo splits from his model girlfriend. But as his relationship with Erin Heatherton ends, it surely won't take a while before we find him with another supermodel in his arms.

When it comes to his ladies, Leonardo DiCaprio certainly has a staple taste. Pretty much all the girls Leonardo dated have all these three qualities; long blonde hair, sexy figures and modelesque looks.

US weekly reports that the 37-year-old A-list actor has broken up with his Victoria's Secret model girlfriend, Erin Heatherton. The two started dating back in December of last year, just after he ended his brief romance with another blonde bombshell, Blake Lively.

But although they hit it off longer than his other flings, they didn't manage to make it to their first anniversary. According to a source, the two decided to go their separate ways but remains caring about each other.

"They split a few weeks ago. There's no bad blood - they still care about each other a lot. They're both just really busy, they had crazy schedules," the source said. "They still love and respect each other very much. It was just time to move on."

Before his relationship with Erin Heatherton, Leonardo is famously known for being a serial model dater. He previously dated supermodel Gisele Bundchen from 2001 to 2005 and then moved on to another model, Bar Refaeli who he dated till 2011.
